Reduce Barriers to Start Using The Product
Rows.com changed its homepage from a standard landing page to just its product. Users could get started straight away without clicking anything, signing in or creating an account.
This reduces the barrier to entry and allows users to get started straight away.
Why It Works:
Makes it easy for the customer to see the value.
Theyāre more likely to create an account.
Especially when itās a freemium product. They donāt need to pay for anything upfront.
Examples:
Canva are known for making it super easy to get started with their design software. You donāt need to log in until the very end when you want to download, save or use premium features.
Code Sandbox make their product just 1 click away before you can start using it. No need to sign in or create an account.
Remove.bg and similar online tools let you use their product straight away. You only pay when you exceed your limit or if you want to download in a higher quality.
